Springport Motor Speedway has a new leadership team for 2012: Jeff & Pam Parish.

The Parish's are no strangers around race tracks. They have operated tracks for nearly ten years at tracks around Michigan. Whittemore Speedway, Owosso Speedway and Dixie Motor Speedway – Jeff and Pam promoted these venues.

The Parish's have entered into a long term lease with Jim Leasure (owner of Spartan Speedway). They are looking forward to continueing their relationship with him.

The team is deep at Speedway Entertainment Group, LLC. Many

people with vast experience. They include: Rob Jenkins – Tech

Director; Dan Bailey – Competition Director, Denny Maher – Pit Director; Sam Dimitrof

f – Safety Director; Patrick McNamera – Sales and Marketing; and Tom “Jake” Jacobs – Bar and Concessions Manager.

“Our team has expertise in short track operations – track management, marketing and public relations, facility maintenance, driver safety & fire suppression, racing tech and tech management, and hospitality services. The advantage we will bring for the future is many boots on the ground to promote this beautiful facility!”

The track is a member of the Michigan Speedway Promoters Association.

The track operates on Saturday and select Sunday nights. Weekly classes include: Wingless Sprints, Super Late Models, Street Stock ABC, and Sport Stock 4cyl. On special events, they will hosting: CRA Supers, CRA Jeg All Stars, USAC Midgets, and Junkyar WARZ.
