Memorial Day weekend is all about remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to make our Nation free. This has also been the biggest racing weekend of the year with the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, and the Coke 600 all on the same day.

This week we salute the Greatest Spectacle in Racing with a special show all about the Indianapolis 500.

Mark Miles has spent his lifetime trying to make a difference in the city of Indianapolis and is the CEO of Hulman and Company that owns the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy Car Series. Mark joins us to talk about the many changes at the speedway and the growth of the Verizon Indy Car Series.

Paul Page is THE voice of the Indianapolis 500 to so many people having announced the race on radio and television for many years. Paul is back as the lead announcer for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network for the 2014 Indianapolis 500. Paul joins us to talk about his career and this year’s race.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the only speedway with a full time historian on the payroll. Donald Davidson came to visit in 1965 and has worked in one capacity or another for USAC and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway all these years. Donald joins us to share a historic perspective about the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
